Playreading

Our popular Playreading group will meet on the first Friday of most months at HOME. The sessions, which are open to all, offer an opportunity to read and discuss plays that are when possible, linked to our theatre productions. The sessions are fun, friendly and informal and new members are always welcome.

Manchester based actor and theatre-maker, Liz Richardson, facilitates the play reading sessions. Having trained in London, Liz moved back to the North to pursue her career and opened her sell-out one woman show Gutted at HOME earlier in the year, which plans to tour late 2017. Liz’s background has been in improvisation with theatre company The Factory and stand-up comedy with appearances at the Hackney Empire and the Pleasance Edinburgh.
