Dallas born Puppies Puppies, now based in Roswell (New Mexico), remains an anonymous artist or collective combining online and pop culture, ready-made objects, humour and sharp critique across their performances and installations. The artist aims to create situations in which the objects are critical, but in a way that leaves it open for the viewer to make those connections.
Puppies Puppies has taken part in biennials from Berlin to Nicaragua and art fairs from Mexico City to Paris, currently exhibiting in the prestigious Whitney Biennial in New York, presenting the series Triggers and performance Liberty (Liberté). Puppies has shown work at galleries internationally, including Chicago, Dallas, Amsterdam, San Francisco, Oaxaca and Hong Kong.
