Chicago native Paul Heyer’s work explores the ecstasy of the present and the permeability of the body, using painting as metaphor for transcendence. The artist makes artwork quickly, in an intuitive way that reflects upon the elasticity of form.
Paul graduated from Columbia University, New York. The artist has shown work throughout the USA, including recent exhibitions Every Day is Halloween at Chapter NY (New York) and I Am The Sky at Night Gallery (LA). In the UK he exhibited within Survival is Not Enough at Rodeo Gallery, London. Heyer has been awarded various prizes including the Catwalk Artists Residency in Hudson, New York.
