London-based artist Jesse Darling is interested in the human condition and how it is mediated through the structures, narratives and technologies that govern life; challenging institutions and destabilising established hierarchies. The artist works with sculpture, installation, text and ‘dasein by design’ (the space where performance and unmediated experience meet).
Jesse has exhibited widely in cities such as Waswaw, Milan, Cologne, Liverpool, Oaxaca, New York and Toronto, among others. The artist has recently shown the solo presentation The Great Near at Arcadia_Missa, London, and Let Them Eat Cake/May One Without Hunger Lift the First Knife in collaboration with Raju Rage at Block Universe Festival, UK (2016).
