Jackie Kay MBE is one of Scotland’s most distinguished writers. A fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, her most recent collection of poems, Fiere, was shortlisted for the Costa award, while the novel Trumpet won the Guardian Fiction Award. Jackie also writes extensively for stage and television, including the Library Theatre Company’s Manchester Lines, and is Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University.
