Q & A

Which living actor, director or artist do you most admire?
Tyler Perry all the way .

Who has been the biggest influence on your life? What lessons did that person teach you?
It’s hard to choose just one person, but I can point to three women throughout my teens who were either involved in the community, based their lives around youth organisations, or inspired young people not to underestimate their abilities and to always think positively.

They’ve taught me the importance of strong female roles and the beauty of using the arts to educate, raise awareness and have fun all at the same time – which is what us young ladies need!

If you could go back in time, where would you go?
I would go back to being seven years old where my only worry in the world was hiding sweets, finding bobbles for my dolls hair and avoiding my early bedtime.

What’s your guiltiest pleasure?
A Friday night out at KiKi’s on Canal Street.
