Granada Foundation Galleries

The Granada Foundation Galleries are a dynamic and ever-evolving space for contemporary visual art at HOME, designed to bring thought-provoking, socially engaged work into the heart of our building.

From bold photography and experimental illustration to cutting-edge design, our programme brings together 4-5 exhibitions a year, championing creative voices that challenge perspectives and invite conversation. With an ever-evolving mix of artists and disciplines, there’s always something new to explore.

Supporting Regional Artists

The Granada Foundation Gallery programme is at the heart of our Artist Development programme, spotlighting artists from across the North West. We work with artists in a bespoke way to make new work, develop their practice and showcase their work to HOME’s audiences. We often support artists to develop their first solo exhibition or we might work with artists to upscale their work.

The Granada Foundation Gallery programme is curated by Alice Wilde, HOME’s Artist Development Producer for Visual Art. We also select exhibitions through open calls and commissioning opportunities. Make sure you’re signed up to HOME’s Creative Newsletter so you are the first to know about opportunities at HOME.

Location

Our Granada Foundation Galleries can be found on the first and second floor, merging with social space and adjacent to our busy restaurant and cinemas. Level one features an impressive triple-height giant wall that has hosted busy salon-hangs, more formal grid display and large-scale installations and murals.

Level two faces our Cinema Bar and Roof Terrace, which combined feature approximately 4-5 exhibitions per year. Our focus in these spaces is North West artists and curators. Much of the work is often for sale, including limited edition prints, encouraging personal patronage of regional creative talent.
