The HOME Young Film Collective is a 12 month programme for 16 - 25 year olds, based in Manchester and Greater Manchester.
Every month the Young Film Collective meet for free film workshops covering everything from practical filmmaking skills, film theory, film reviewing, distribution and more. The year long programme also includes film screenings, industry talks and will culminate in the making of a short film.
The group are HOME’s resident Young Programmers, learning how to curate a film programme with guidance from HOME’s programming team, and they will programme up to 4 films to be shown in HOME’s cinemas.
This year’s cohort of 21 young film enthusiasts have recently joined us and they are so excited to get started on their projects, keep an eye out for screenings and events organised by the group.
