We are looking for a highly self-motivated, energetic and supportive people-person with experience of working with a wide range of people of all ages and from different backgrounds, ideally within an arts, cultural, heritage or other charitable organisation.
Someone to work 3 days per week who shares our passion about the benefits of volunteering. The ideal candidate will be flexible, an excellent communicator and able to motivate a wide range of people to become volunteers. We need someone who can prioritise and manage their time effectively in order to develop and widen our current volunteering opportunities while ensuring that our wonderful volunteer team feel supported and valued.
To be responsible for the programming, planning, organisation, administration and delivery of HOME’s Volunteer programme, which aims to:
– Provide a diverse range of people with the opportunity to develop skills and improve their wellbeing within the unique environment of a creative contemporary arts centre.
– Develop employability and emotional intelligence skills.
– Contribute to the cultural sector’s next generation work-force.
– Diversify HOME’s workforce.
About the Customer Service Team
The Customer Service team is responsible for all of the customer facing areas of HOME: Box Office, FOH teams, events and retail staff, ensuring that our customers receive the highest standard of customer care, service and engagement.
HOME’s large pool of volunteers are a vital part of the Customer Service team using their passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for art, theatre and film, to help make our venue an exciting and welcoming place to visit and explore.
