Production Assistant Internship: PUSH Festival 2020

We’re looking for someone aged 18+ who is looking for an internship level role in the creative industries. You will have an interest in roles such as event delivery and festival production. You will also need to have an interest in culture and be keen to explore a career in the creative areas such as film, art and theatre. A general interest in HOME and the creative arts will also support your application to the role. You will have an interest in developing your skills in roles behind the scenes of an arts centre and in the production of a cross-art form festival. It will be great if you already have some understanding of volunteering, working within or visiting an arts centre or live event venue.

This Internship role will support HOME’s annual Push Festival, and the intern will work closely with the festival production team and wider HOME team to support the delivery of the festival.

Push Festival is our annual celebration of the North West’s creative talents. Over two weeks, our stages, screens and spaces will be dedicated to showcasing fantastic works from around the region, as well as offering opportunities for creatives to meet industry professionals, share ideas and inspiration and develop their skills. The programme will be announced at the end of 2019 with calls for commissions, submissions and opportunities published at various times throughout the year.

This is a part-time, fixed contract, entry level role at the following rate:

Salary: £8.21 per hour
Contract Period: Total hours of fixed term contract: 112. Dec 2019 – Mar 2020, Part Time
