Kickstart: Maintenance Operations Assistant

Kickstart is a scheme for 16-24 year olds who are unemployed and on Universal Credit.

The Maintenance Operations Assistant is a brand new role which sit’s within the Maintenance team at HOME. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience working alongside a friendly, hardworking and committed team.

Throughout this role, you will have plenty of training opportunities that will support your development. As well as on the job training, you will also be supported by wrap around training provided by The Factory Academy.

This training will be a couple of hours, once a week (during your 25hrs of work), some workshops will take place in person and some virtually. The modules you will be covering include:
– Personal and Professional Development
– Digital
– Global Thinking and Sustainability.

Our successful applicant will not need tonnes of experience working in the arts or an building environment, but the individual will be:

– A friendly and warm individual,
– Interested in working with people and in a team
– Organised and able to work to deadlines
– Able or comfortable talking to supporters over email, on the phone and face-to-face in a polite and professional manner
– Keen and eager to learn
