Young filmmaker opportunity!

HOME are looking for an early career filmmaker, aged 18 - 25, to shoot the behind-the-scenes film for this year's BFI Film Academy.

The BFI Film Academy is an intensive three-month short course that takes place at HOME and explores filmmaking, film theory, programming, distribution and much more. Eighteen young people, aged 16 – 19, will explore all aspects of filmmaking, working with industry professionals to shoot a short film.

The role of ‘Behind the Scenes Filmmaker’ is a great opportunity for a young person just starting out in their filmmaking career. The role will require 7 days of work in total, spread out across some Saturdays in October and November, plus a couple of weekdays w/c 24th of October. The 7 days are inclusive of shooting and editing the film. This is a paid opportunity and does not require you to have your own equipment.
