We’re looking to recruit a Finance Assistant Apprentice to join our team here at HOME. This is a great opportunity for someone aged 18 – 25 who is interested in exploring and developing a career in finance and accounts.
As member of the Finance Team you will work to support the running of an effective finance system for HOME. You will liaise across the organisation to support the administration of the finance team.
The Finance Assistant Apprentice role is a training position and the apprentice will undertake a programme of on and off the job training with work based guidance and mentoring leading to an AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting – Level 3 with Level 2 bolt on in Bookkeeping Units as required. The training provider for this apprenticeship role will be Kaplan Manchester.
Applicants must:
- Be aged 18 – 25 years old
- Be a permanent resident of the City of Manchester (a list of the Manchester wards can be found in the role info pack)
- Not have a degree level qualification

Salary: £16,016 per annum
Hours of work: Full time, 40 hours per week (including meal breaks) for 16 – 18 months (depending on the qualification level)
