Film Programme Producer (Maternity cover)

We are currently recruiting for a Film Programme Producer (Maternity cover) to join our team.

The post holder produces HOME’s Film programme, working closely with a range of teams including Communications, Box Office, Engagement and Technical to ensure the smooth operation of the programme.

Salary:  Up to £24,500
Contract:  This post is a full-time role for 12 months
Hours of work:  40 hours a week worked over 5 days
Holidays:  25 days p.a plus statutory holidays

Main Duties:

To produce the Film programme and one-off screenings, with duties including, but not limited to:
• Scheduling screenings and completing the weekly holdover schedule. Administration of film calendars.
• Coordinating copy and film on sale information.
• Arranging the transport of film prints to and from the venue for international shipments and UK shipments of special features. This involves liaison with projectionists, couriers, distributors and venues.
• Working with the Technical team to manage content on the projector servers.
• Certificating non-BBFC rated films with Manchester City Council.
• Managing alternative content relationships, such as NT Live.
• Coordinating cinema screen swaps.

To produce film events, including internal and external partner liaison, health and safety considerations and contracts.
To secure film rights and prints for screenings, including negotiating costs and ensuring bookings are made and materials are delivered in a timely fashion. This covers booking titles for one-off screenings, curated seasons, special events, festivals, Engagement bookings and private hires.

To keep accurate financial and statistical records for the Film team and to ensure all invoices are accurate and paid in a timely fashion. To work with the Finance team to set targets for the upcoming year.

To complete stakeholder, funder and evaluation reports as required, including the annual Europa Cinemas report and regular BFI reporting.

To monitor audience attendance and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly statistics and analysis, including financial comparisons, to internal and external stakeholders.

Dealing with audience and staff enquiries across all platforms.

Any other duties commensurate with this post.
