The Funfair is the world premiere of a new adaptation of Kasimir and Karoline, a masterpiece of 20th century European theatre. Dark, political and very funny, Ödön von Horváth’s play sets two young lovers in the throes of a break up against the hypnotic whirl of a funfair. Double Olivier Award-winning playwright Simon Stephens has adapted the play for our first season at HOME. We caught up with Simon to find out more.
