What’s on > What’s on in March

¡Viva! returns for its 25th edition this month! With 21 new feature films (including ten UK premieres), theatre in the form of King Kong extravaganza Kingdom, as well as a Manchester Camerata ¡Viva! special, join us in celebrating the very best of Spanish and Latin American culture. There’s also a big 25th birthday bash happening on Fri 22 Mar so we’ll see you there!

We welcome three very different but equally entertaining shows to our Theatre 2 stage this month. Firstly, Sleepwalk Collective present their ‘sort of opera’ Kourtney Kardashian, a love/hate letter to outrageous luxury. Next, HOME Associate Artist Scottee triumphantly returns with Fat Blokes, a joyous and soulful dance show about flab and feelings. Finally, Papatango New Writing Prize winner The Funeral Director is here with a heartfelt story of sexuality, gender and religion.

On our Theatre 1 stage, Mark Thomas checks the pulse of our most beloved institution in Check Up: Our NHS @ 70, and Manchester poet Tony Walsh performs material from his brand new collection.

In the main gallery, David Bethell’s Fleeting Flights continues, whilst on our Granada Foundation Gallery walls you can get an insight into the teenage experience with Sixteen; both close on Sun 17 Mar.
