What’s on > What’s on in March

On stage, we join award-winning 59 Productions to present Paul Auster’s City of Glass, the story of a reclusive crime writer who unwittingly becomes the protagonist in a thriller of his own, adapted from the seminal American novel by author Paul Auster.

On our screens this month, we open Kelly Reichardt’s elegant and moving Certain Women, brilliantly colourful The Love Witch, provocative Elle, and Oscar-winning The Salesman. To accompany our theatre show this month, Paul Auster’s City of Glass, we also present Paul Auster: Man of Cinema – a short season of films chosen by the author to celebrate his long-standing relationship with cinema.

In the gallery, John Hyatt continues to rock our world with his post-punk procession of music and pop culture, culminating at the end of each week with Club Big, the spin-off music event that introduces the best breakthrough live acts every Friday from 18:00 – 21:00.

Finally, ¡Viva! Spanish and Latin American Festival returns for it’s 23rd edition at the end of the month with a venue-wide celebration of film, theatre and visual art from across the Spanish-speaking world. Commemorating the fortieth anniversary of the abolition of censorship in Spain, this year we’re drawing inspiration from La Transición – the era of cultural revolution sparked by the transition to democracy.
