A City Seen – Young, LGBTQIA & in the Suburbs!

Our third A City Seen will be an evening of film, performance and discussion exploring what it is to be young, LGBTQIA and in the suburbs! Created by Tandem Theatre, the Zhoosh project has brought together LGBTQIA young people from Rochdale, Wigan and Salford to explore and express their identity through creativity. Working with some of Manchester’s finest Queer Stars such as Jackie Hagan and Kate O’Donnell the groups have created a selection of short music videos and films to showcase this evening. Films will be followed by performance from the likes of Jackie Hagan, Violet Blond, Tallulah Howarth (Young Identity), Tolu Ajayi (Rainbow Noir) and more and a panel discussion with Michael Betteridge (Tandem Theatre) Jackie Hagan, Greg Thorpe (Superbia, Pride) and Sally Carr (The Proud Trust). You are welcome to this open, queer and safe space to share in this creativity and discussion.

A City Seen is our quarterly film night as part of our #HOMEinspires programme. This programme connects with groups, charities and voluntary organisations and projects from across Greater Manchester to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to take part in and experience HOME, both as audiences and as artists.
