About Nasima ‘Bee’ Begum
Nasima is a performance poet, producer & creative practitioner. Fatihah, an Arabic word which means ‘opening’, looks at the deeply personal and intimate exchanges of loss and losing. Nasima explores the devastation of grief whilst celebrating the sobering and silence in the places memories hold the missing. This film is based on personal experiences and invites audiences to follow Nasima’s own journey and observances.
