The Humans

Directed by Stephen Karam

The piercingly funny debut film from writer-director Stephen Karam, adapted from his Tony Award-winning play, The Humans explores the hidden dread of a family and the love that binds them together.

Erik Blake has gathered three generations of his Pennsylvania family to celebrate Thanksgiving at his daughter’s apartment in lower Manhattan. As darkness falls outside and eerie things start to go bump in the night, the group’s deepest fears are laid bare.

Socially Distanced Screenings at HOME: An Update

From Mon 27 Dec until Sun 30 Jan, the majority of film screenings at HOME will be socially distanced.

How do our socially distanced screenings work?

When booking, please select whether you would like to sit at the front, middle or back of the screen.  You will automatically be allocated the best available seats in that area. Our booking system automatically places two empty seats either side of your booked seats.

When you arrive at HOME, please take a moment to check on your tickets which seats you have booked. If you are unsure of where to go, our staff will be on hand and happy to help. Once in the cinema, we ask that you stay in your allocated seat and do not move to sit with others.

What to expect when visiting HOME

We have a number of measures in place at HOME for the comfort and safety of our visitors. Find out more here.
