The final instalment in the ‘Dollars’ trilogy tracks the adventures of the ‘good’ (Clint), the bad (Van Cleef), and the ‘ugly’ (Wallach) as they search for a buried fortune during the Civil War. Of course their motives aren’t exactly altruistic and the violence soon mounts. With its OTT set-pieces and camerawork and another soaring Morricone score, it’s completely entertaining.
