Roger is a struggling newspaperman who wants to strike it rich. And so he enrols his son into a door opening/closing competition. Sadly, sonny doesn’t want to participate and dad’s hired the worst trainer possible. Things could hardly get worse – but of course they do, and the whole family suffers. Veering from surreal comedy to shocking drama, Mariage’s inventive tale carries an emotional punch.
