Cornerhouse and exposures are proud to launch a new regional filmmaking programme dedicated to showing the best new short films by the best of the Northwest’s independent filmmakers – and not just students! overexposed will be a bi-monthly showcase held in Cinema 2, offering filmmakers the rare opportunity to see their work in the medium they were meant for – the big screen – on a regular basis. Each event will be themed and will draw from a pool of existing films (made in the last three or four years) and new work – some of it made especially for the event. Tonight’s theme is: Techno-Angst – films about technology getting under our skin. All six filmmakers will introduce their work and have the opportunity to answer your questions afterwards.
