Stone Reader

Directed by Mark Moskowitz

Curious as to the ‘disappearance’ of “promising” one-off novelist Dow Mossman (The Stones of Summer,1972), dedicated bookworm Moskowitz sets off to find him, interviewing a range of literary greats along the way. The director’s day job is making adverts for the Democratic Party. Perhaps that’s the answer to the mystery of the film’s idealised quest for the perfect author – and reader.
