‘The film is about a man (Black) whose band don’t want him so they vote him out. He lives with his friend and owes him about £2,000 in rent. One day he gets a phone call and this leads to him pretending to be his friend and working as a teacher to get some money. He then starts up a rock band with the children and they go into a tournament called Battle of the Bands.
