School of Rock

Directed by Richard Linklater

‘The film is about a man (Black) whose band don’t want him so they vote him out. He lives with his friend and owes him about £2,000 in rent. One day he gets a phone call and this leads to him pretending to be his friend and working as a teacher to get some money. He then starts up a rock band with the children and they go into a tournament called Battle of the Bands. This is one of my favourite films because it is very funny and Jack Black is one of my all time favourite actors.’ Written by Alex Etel (aka Damian Cunningham) SCHOOL OF ROCK is screening as part of a double-bill chosen by actors Lewis McGibbon and Alex Etel of MILLIONS. The screening will be introduced by Lewis and Alex. THE MASK screens first in this special double bill. For an additional review of SCHOOL OF ROCK Click Here
