The directorial début of author and film critic Foix, SAGITARIO interweaves the stories of a handful of city dwellers in search of romance in Madrid. Divorced painter Rosa (Molina) and her gay confidante, an actor, Jaime (Poncela), share the same star sign (Sagittarius) and the desire for love. Rosa meets an Argentine architect and a young pizza delivery boy whilst Jaime falls for a hunky, mysterious man of dubious identity. A mature, intelligently-scripted drama, SAGITARIO boasts fine performances from a cast that mixes stellar vets with outstanding newcomers.
