After a group of unpaid construction workers disappears at sea one night in search of a better life abroad, the women they have left behind in Dakar are overwhelmed with a mysterious fever.
Event/ This screening will be preceded by a recorded introduction from filmmaker Mati Diop followed by a live poetry response from award-winning poet Be Manzini.
There will also be a creative writing workshop in response to the film’s themes in the bar afterwards.
