Turin-based Southerner Calopresti uses the story of a tenuous friendship between two very different boys to reflect upon the uneasy relationship between Northern and Southern Italy. Visiting his native Southern seaside town, a Turin businessman encounters a young boy essentially orphaned by the Mafia.
