Pot Luck

Directed by Cédric Klapisch

From the director of WHEN THE CAT’S AWAY and UN AIR DE FAMILLE, POT LUCK was a huge hit in France. Duris reunites with Klapisch in this lively ensemble comedy about a young French economics student who has to learn Spanish in order to land a lucrative government job. So he opts to leave his girlfriend behind and goes to Barcelona where he ends up sharing a house with seven other ERASMUS exchange students, representing a kind of mini EU. Of course culture clashes ensue, but the small community survives and thrives as the students learn about life outside university.
