For this year’s opening night, Pilot Light TV Festival has teamed up with Amazon Video UK to present the first episode of the soon-to-be hit TV show American Gods.
American Gods is an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s bestselling novel which follows the character Shadow Moon straight out of prison as he follows the mysterious Mr Wednesday who is assembling the ‘old gods’ to do battle with the ‘new gods’, who have all blended in with American culture. The amazing team behind this adaptation features Pushing Daisies and Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller at the helm along with writer Michael Green, director David Slade and a cast including Manchester-born Ian McShane, Ricky Whittle, Gillian Anderson, Crispin Glover and Pablo Schreiber. Anyone who has seen Hannibal knows just how visually arresting collaborations between Bryan Fuller and David Slade can be. Do not miss the very rare chance to catch the first episode of American Gods on the big screen in stunning digital 4K.
The team at Pilot Light TV Festival adore and encourage the communal experience of watching television; they invite you to join them to watch the first episode of what is sure to be the next big thing in US TV.
This event also features a special pre-recorded video introduction from Neil Gaiman himself; author of American Gods, The Sandman and Coraline!
