One Way Boogie Woogie 2012

Directed by James Benning

Benning originally shot One Way Boogie Woogie in 1977. He wanted to record the demise of the industrial landscape in his birthplace, Milwaukee. 27 years later he returned to shoot the same one-minute shots of the same location and with the same extras (and the same soundtrack). The film shows the creeping inevitability of progress and is undoubtedly the most experimental remake ever.
