Arthur Kane was a founder and original bassist for influential pre-punk band The New York Dolls. Overshadowed by singer David Johansen when the band split in 1976, Kane disappeared. Almost 30 years later he is found in L.A., a devout Mormon baredly scraping by on a menial job. Then Morrissey re-formed the band for their seminal Meltdown appearance.
