My Mexican Shiva

Directed by Alejandro Springall

A rare glimpse at Jewish lives in Mexico City, this charming farce charts the shiva (7-day mourning ritual) that follows the death of a popular patriarch. The traditional rules apply (including family squabbles), but with a Mexican twist – think Mariachis.

The wonderful music score is performed by The Klezmatics.
