Moves opens with a mix of UK and Canadian shorts exploring the various possibilities offered by dance films, from very visual films such as The Hunt, to poetic ballads and intimate stories.
The screening also includes a brand new documentary about the costume designer of the famous Cirque du Soleil, Dominique Lemieux. Shot over two years in Montreal, Las Vegas, Brussels, Milan, Chartres (France), Fukuoka (Japan) and Benares (India), The Magic Touch offers a unique insight into the imagination of this flamboyant artist.
