After a deluge of computer-generated 3D animation, it’s great to have a chance to re-enter the wonderful world of model animation as practiced by two of its award-winning filmmakers: Pjotr Sapegin and Australia’s ‘crown prince of plasticine’, Adam Elliot. Sapegin’s eccentric claymation creations are often influenced by fairytales whilst Elliot creates a humorous, but melancholic universe of real people.
