Minor Mishaps

For her feature début, director Olesen decided to employ the actors’ improvisational workshop method practiced by Mike Leigh to create this bittersweet, character-driven story of a family in crisis after the mother’s sudden death. The five members of Ulla’s nearest and dearest experience a state of emergency in their lives as each seeks to find his or her own identity and understand it in relation to the others.
