Legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola returns to feature filmmaking for the first time in over a decade to finally realise a long-term passion project.

Megalopolis is a bold science fiction opus, which harnesses the narrative traditions of the Roman epics to tell the story of an imagined future for the United States. 

The City of New Rome must change. Cesar Catilina – a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian future – is drawn into conflict with Mayor Franklyn Cicero, who remains committed to a regressive status quo.

Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero, the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.
