With fans like Elton John, Tommy Hilfiger and Lionel Richie, artist Marc Quinn is an international superstar, known the world over for arresting work that includes a series of self-portraits made from his own blood and the enormous Trafalgar Square sculpture in London: Alison Lapper Pregnant. Through the lens of director Gerry Fox, we follow Marc from London to New York, Venice, Istanbul and Hong Kong for a year packed with exhibitions and see how his ideas grow into artistic works.
