Legendary purveyors of 60s West Coast psychedelia, Love was one of the first multi-racial rock bands, fronted by the effervescent, self-proclaimed ‘first black hippie’ Arthur Lee. This portrait features interviews with the band’s members, tracing the rise and fall, from first album to the seminal Forever Changes. Sadly, Lee died before the film was completed, but it stands as a glorious epitaph.
