It Is In Us All

Directed by Antonia Campbell-Hughes

The stark beauty of rural Ireland becomes an evocative metaphor for the unconventional relationship between two men in Antonia Campbell-Hughes’ debut feature.

On his way to the town in Ireland where his late aunt has bequeathed him a house, a Londoner named Hamish collides with an oncoming car. Its 17-year-old driver, Evan, survives the accident with only minor injuries. The two men become friends. Evan seems fascinated by Hamish, while Hamish sees Evan as a connection to a youth rooted in the countryside that has always eluded him.
