God Help the Girl

Directed by Stuart Murdoch

God Help the Girl is a coming of age tale set in Glasgow over the course of one hazy summer. Written, directed and with original songs by Stuart Murdoch, lead singer of the group Belle and Sebastian, God Help the Girl is a story of a young woman’s problems entering adult life, uniquely told through a soundtrack of indie pop.

Event

On Sat 16 August the film will be followed by a set from Belle and Sebastian playing both their own songs and songs from the film, broadcast via live satellite from Edinburgh Corn Exchange during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. For full details click here.
