After his ship is attacked by pirates and he is presumed dead, swashbuckling farmhand Westley returns home to find Buttercup betrothed to the evil Prince Humperdinck, and kidnapped by three outlaws. They must both battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other
