In their fourth film together, director Albaladejo and author/screenwriter Elvira Lindo weave their finest ensemble comedy. Depressed shrink Miguel’s wife has left him for another man. To add insult to injury, she asks her ex to put her unsuspecting mum up overnight. Meanwhile, through a chance encounter involving one of his patients, Miguel meets Jasmina, an over-worked beautician responsible for a flatfull of siblings and grandparents. Somehow romance develops between this unlikely pair in this wittily scripted romantic comedy that mixes in social commentary with a light touch.
