Cult/ Vampire’s Kiss

Directed by Robert Bierman

New York literary agent Peter Loew is at the peak of his high-flying career, but is beset by problems in a personal life fuelled by drugs, partying and the incessant pursuit of success. After a one-night stand with a woman he believes to be a vampire, Peter is convinced that he too has become an agent of the underworld. In response, he dons a pair of plastic fangs, begins having alarming hallucinations and spirals further out of control.

The movie that launched a thousand memes, Vampire’s Kiss is classic Nic Cage. His performance is completely committed, unfiltered and features the most notorious, glorious recitation of the alphabet ever recorded on film.
