As a CODA (child of deaf adults), Ruby is the only hearing person in her home. When she discovers a passion for singing, Ruby must choose between family obligations and her dreams.
CODA won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award at Sundance, and it will be presented with HOH subtitles for all screenings and will have Audio Description (AD) available.
On Thu 19 Aug, 17:30 there will be a specially recorded Q&A (31 mins) with CODA director Siân Heder, and the four cast members of the fictional Rossi family, Marlee Matlin, Emilia Jones, Troy Kotsur and Daniel Durant.
The Q&A is presented by Apple Original Films and BFI in collaboration with RNID, the charity making life fully inclusive for deaf people and those with hearing loss or tinnitus.
