Cazando luciérnagas

Directed by Roberto Flores Prieto

This directorial debut from Colombian director Flores Prieto is an exquisitely beautiful piece about the reawakening of a man’s emotions. In charge of an abandoned salt mine on the remote Caribbean coast, the introverted Manrique (Moreno) seems content to live in almost complete isolation from the rest of humanity. His solitary routine is broken, however, by the appearance of a friendly dog that likes to chase fireflies, and then the arrival of his estranged thirteen-year-old daughter Valeria (Abril).

Event: We are pleased to welcome Roberto Flores Prieto for a Q&A following the screening on Tue 11 Mar.
