By the late 1960s the institutions of the NHS had become so much a part of British life that they provided the perfect backdrop for the Carry On team’s comedy antics. In this double bill we bring together two of their best loved NHS set films, both of which gently poke fun at some of the pressures already putting pressure on the institution.
