Ashes of Time Redux

Set in the jianghu, the parallel universe of the martial arts literary world, Wong Kar-Wai’s ASHES OF TIME recounts the story of Dongxie (Lord of the East) and Xidu (Lord of the West) in their formative years. Revisiting the film 14 years after its original release, Wong Kar-Wai has set out to create a definitive version of this early example of his work.
