¿Quién mató a la llamita blanca?

Directed by Rodrigo Bellott

The first Bolivian High Definition digital film, this iconoclastic road movie broke all box office records for domestic films. Undermining preconceptions of form and content, Bellot destroys the stereotype of the abused Latin American victim to present in an irreverent manner the first black comedy with indigenous superheroes. As both a celebration and a parody of Bolivian customs, it highlights the tensions between the Collas (Andean people) and the Cambas (from the lowlands), classism, intolerance and socially acceptable corruption. Luscious colours, energetic music and fast paced editing combine to create a rollercoaster ride following the criminal capers of the “Lovebirds” and two policemen in desperate pursuit
