Cornerhouse Projects is pleased to feature Th’Arctic (Lancashire for ‘the Arctic’), a live art project by artist Rebecca McKnight. Having just returned from an expedition to the Arctic, Rebecca has become one of the first British people to ski up to 300 miles pulling a pulk (sledge) from Resolute to Gris Fiord, the most northerly Inuit community in Canada.

Photographs of her journey have been regularly updated in the foyer and on the BBC Big Screen in Exchange Square, and the final batch of photographs have just been added. You can also still post her messages via blog ‘stations’ set up in the Bar and Gallery Reception areas.

For more information or to subscribe to Rebecca’s blog visit www.tharctic.com and join Th’Arctic Facebook Group here.
