The Good, The Mad and The Funky – Young People’s Cinema Takeover Day
To celebrate the start of the school summer holidays, on Saturday 23 July 2011, Cornerhouse’s Cinema 1 was taken over by young people! Our Creative Stars team chose the films that were screened which included 1980s classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Joe Cornish’s Attack The Block, and the comic book adaptation Green Lantern.
We saw a number of new LiveWire members at the screenings and each film was introduced by one of our young Creative Stars programmers.
